Translate

Translate any message on demand — either before you send it or on an existing message. This feature is free for all users and works in DMs too.

Type a message in your own language, and the bot will translate it and send it to the channel.

Syntax:

/translate

The command opens a modal where you can type the message you want to translate. The bot will ask for the target language and then post the translated message.

Section titled “/translatechoice — Choose where flag reactions reply”

Apps Context Menu — Translate an existing message

Section titled “Apps Context Menu — Translate an existing message”

Right-click any message → AppsTranslate

  • Works on any message in any channel, including DMs.
  • The output language is your personal language (configurable with /personal).
  • Free for all users, no premium required.

/personal — Set your personal output language

Section titled “/personal — Set your personal output language”

Sets the language that the Translate context-menu command translates into for you personally.

/personal [language]

By default, the bot uses your Discord client language. Use this command to receive translations in a different language than the one set in your Discord client.

See the full documentation: Personal Language.

The /translate command and context menu have no dashboard configuration panel — they work out of the box for every user.
