Custom Abbreviations
Define abbreviations or shortcuts that are expanded into their full meaning before a message is translated. For example, configure tbh → to be honest so the translator always receives the full phrase.
Slash Commands
Section titled “Slash Commands”/abbreviations add — Add an abbreviation
Section titled “/abbreviations add — Add an abbreviation”/abbreviations add [abbreviation] [full_meaning]Parameters:
abbreviation— The short form to detect (e.g.tbh).full_meaning— The full text it should expand to before translation.
Example:
/abbreviations add tbh "to be honest"/abbreviations list — View all abbreviations
Section titled “/abbreviations list — View all abbreviations”/abbreviations listLists all abbreviations currently configured for the server.
/abbreviations remove — Remove an abbreviation
Section titled “/abbreviations remove — Remove an abbreviation”/abbreviations remove [abbreviation]Removes the specified abbreviation.
Dashboard
Section titled “Dashboard”- Open the dashboard and select your server.
- In the sidebar, click Custom Abbreviations under Features.
- Click Add new abbreviation to create a new entry.
- Fill in the Short Form — the abbreviated text to detect.
- Fill in the Full Form — the complete text the abbreviation expands to before translation.
- Click Save Changes to apply.
Options per abbreviation
Section titled “Options per abbreviation”| Field | Description |

| Short Form | The abbreviated word or phrase to match (e.g. btw). |
| Full Form | The full text it is replaced with before translation (e.g. by the way). |
Managing abbreviations
